Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Markushof, a charming hotel nestled in a quiet village that boasts stunning mountain views. As a mountaineer and eco-tourism advocate, I appreciated the hotel's commitment to both comfort and sustainability. The rooms are spacious and clean, featuring a lovely balcony perfect for enjoying the scenery. The highlight of my stay was certainly the dining experience. Breakfast was hearty, and the five-course dinner was a culinary delight. Plus, the friendly staff, even during busy times, made us feel welcome and attended to our every need. A short walk took me to the bus station, which runs every 20 minutes to the Olang Talstation, an added convenience for adventurers like myself. For a bit of relaxation, the sauna in the spa center offered a tranquil escape after a day of exploration. Valet parking and fantastic Wi-Fi were also notable conveniences. While Markushof leans towards the luxury side, the value of the services and amenities provided makes for a wise choice, especially for those seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure. I would certainly consider another visit, particularly for the views and ease of access to outdoor activities.
